Introduction to Morpheus8

The desire for eternal youth has been chased for centuries, and although the “fountain of youth” is a thing of myth, medical breakthroughs have allowed for some incredible advancements in dialing back the clock. At Personique On the Spot in Austin, TX, we offer a treatment that has been scientifically proven to reach deep beneath your skin where the foundation begins. Morpheus8 is rapidly becoming one of the most advanced skin tightening and toning methods on the market.

What is Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is an innovative micro-needling treatment created to be more effective than traditional micro-needling procedures. This non-invasive facial rejuvenation treatment is the only device combined with radiofrequency technology to stimulate remodeling adipose tissue of the dermis. Microneedling on its own will encourage a healing response that will also increase collagen proliferation, however with Morpheus8, this device thickens and tightens your body’s tissue.

What are the Benefits of Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 can offer our patients benefits by improving the following:

Although this treatment is more commonly used on the lower face and neck areas, it can improve any area in which subdermal adipose remodeling is needed.

Who are the Best Candidates for Morpheus8?

The best candidates for getting Morpheus8 in Austin are those looking to improve the following areas of appearance:

What’s the First Step?

If you are in the Austin area and are interested in getting the Morpheus8 treatment, the first step is to contact us for a consultation. Our certified and talented technicians will be able to answer any questions you may have about the treatment, address any concerns or goals you have, and give you a full examination of your skin to determine the best plan for you.

If you agree with their evaluation and decision, then you can schedule an appointment for your treatment with our Patient Coordinator. Once you have your date set up, you will also be provided with a cost breakdown and any instructions you may need to follow before your treatment.

What to Expect on the Day of Morpheus8

When you come in for our Morpheus8 treatment, it will begin by having a local anesthetic administered, usually, a topical numbing cream, to decrease microneedle and radiofrequency energy penetration sensation. Next, a small handheld applicator is used that has several tiny needles powered with radiofrequency provided by the device’s platform. The applicator is placed against the skin for a few seconds while energy is inserted through the needles. Once the cycle is complete, the applicator is removed from the surface and placed onto the adjacent area in a stamping technique, rather than gliding the applicator across the skin.

Morpheus8 Recovery

Your recovery will be fairly quick following your treatment. You will notice that your skin is slightly pink or red during the first 4 – 6 hours, but it should return to normal after that. Although you should avoid the sun as much as possible, anytime you do go outside, you should wear a good SPF for protection.

You may also notice that your skin is tight or dry during the first 48 hours, so it is a good idea to moisturize as often as possible to provide your skin with the best results.
